Gupchup Rasoi follows Nirmala, a homemaker and food columnist whose life is rich in flavour but starved of affection. Celebrated online as Ms Sugar-n-Spice, she is belittled at home by her body-shaming husband, who dismisses her passion and presence. When young filmmaker Shantanu approaches her for an intimate culinary documentary, Nirmala is forced to confront years of internalised shame. Through cooking, storytelling, and an affirming gaze, she rediscovers her body, desire, and voice. As the kitchen becomes a space of quiet rebellion, Nirmala reclaims confidence, pleasure, and self-worth—on her own terms.
