Tom and Icarus embark on a mission to rescue Vivi, Détente, and Quantum from the underground bunker of Phil Phates, aided unexpectedly by a group of BLM and MAGA protesters. Meanwhile, Vivi is pressured by the Committee of Ten to reveal the frequency she uses to communicate with the other side. Once forced there again, Vivi meets Thomas Paine who is discovering his most influential writing.
