Murphy goes undercover at a defence biotech contractor that may be covering up an industrial accident. Specifically, a young child is found to have drowned but the mother believes he died as a result of a chemical agent in the pond near where the child was playing. Despite being warned off the case, the police leave Murphy in place. When the family who helped the dead boy and his mother is executed, it becomes apparent that someone will stop at nothing to keep these secrets hidden.
