Midori spends her days caring for her husband Shuji who despite suffering severe injuries all over his body in the war, still expresses his strong libido only through his eyes. Her heart is thrown into turmoil when she reunites with her former lover Naoki, whom she separated from ten years earlier when married, and who is now about to marry Yoshiko, the daughter of a very wealthy family.
